November 16th— the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Sociology Association and the Symposium on “Socialist Modernization and New Journey of Sociology” were successfully held in SASS. More than a hundred experts of the field, representing universities and research institutions in Shanghai and other provinces and cities attended the meeting.
The participants summarized the development results of the Association and announced the list of outstanding papers of the year. The conference also set up five parallel panels, with experts focusing on the topics of “Social Governance and Government-Society Relations”, “Rural Revitalization and Social Construction”, “Digital Transformation and Social Stratification” and “Social Theory and Social Life” and ‘Marriage, Family and Emotional Relationship’.
