On August 29, Souvanny Saysana, Vice Secretary of Bolikhamsai Provincial Party Committee and President of the People's Congress of Bolikhamsai province, led a delegation of senior cadres of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) to visit SASS and listen to a special report on the topic of “Building and Improving a Socialist Rule of Law System with Chinese Characteristics”. Professor Gan Chunhui, Vice President of SASS, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, emphasizing on the importance of this visit and expressing hope for deepening exchanges and cooperation between the academy and Laos.
Professor Li Jianwei, Deputy Director of the Institute of Law of SASS, gave a special report on “Building and Improving a Socialist Rule of Law System with Chinese Characteristics”. He introduced the history and specific contents, started from the essence of the rule of law, value connotation and characteristics, and combined with specific cases to introduce the ten major experiences of building and improving the rule of law system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
