On March 7, 2024, Adam Habib, President of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, visited SASS. President Wang Dezhong met with the delegation and engaged in warm and friendly discussions on inter-institutional cooperation.
President Wang Dezhong welcomed the proposal for collaborative education put forth by President Adam Habib and expressed the hope that both parties would continue to communicate after the meeting to reach consensus on specific areas and projects of cooperation.
President Adam Habib emphasized SOAS's commitment to fostering global partnerships and expressed the desire to collaborate with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences on global issues of mutual interest such as green development, climate change, and global governance in the future.
