On November 18, the 3rd International Academic Conference on Cooperation and Sustainable Development of Marine Economy was held in Shanghai, themed with “Green Development, Blue Economy”. During the conference, three topics concerning “Marine Sci-Tech Innovation and Ecological Protection”, “Marine Economic Cooperation and Free Trade Port Construction” and “Marine Culture and Tourism” were discussed by experts and scholars from Pudong New Area Commission of Commerce, Ningbo University Donghai Academy, First Institute of Oceanography, MNR, Transport Planning and Research Institute Ministry of Transport, CSSC Cruise Technology Development Co., Ltd., CSSC - Fincantieri Cruise Industry Development Limited, Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA), East China Sea Development Research Institute, MNR, Shanghai Water Engineering Group Design Co., Ltd., Hainan Tropical Ocean University, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Shanghai International Shipping Center Development and Promotion Organization, Korea International Cruise Research Institute, Vladivostok Port Co., Ltd. of Russia, Meyer Werft of Germany, and Kobe International Exchange Center Shanghai Representative Office of Nippon Foundation.
