On June 20, the 2023 China-ROK Industry Forum themed “New Industry and New Track: Future Industrial Development and China-ROK Cooperation” was jointly held by the SASS Institute of Applied Economics and Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET). Gan Chunhui, Vice President of SASS and President of the SASS Institute of Applied Economics, Hyeon Ju, President of KIET, and Kim Keunmo, Commercial Consulate at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, delivered an opening speech, respectively.
At the forum, the two sides provided a total of nine high-quality keynote reports, conducting an in-depth discussion on multiple areas including domestic and international economic landscape, new directions of industrial transformation, priorities of bilateral industrial cooperation, future prospects for industrial cooperation, business environment optimization, and high-standard trade rules.
The China-ROK Industry Forum has been held successfully for nine sessions since SASS established contact with KIET in 1995. This time, the forum was held offline after a lapse of three years, further extending the solid research cooperation between the SASS Institute of Economics and KIET.
