On April 24, the delegation of China-Veracruz Studies Center of the University of Veracruz, led by Professor Aníbal Carlos Zottele, visited SASS. Quan Heng, Secretary of the CPC SASS Committee, met with the Mexico guests.
Quan Heng reviewed the previous milestones and achievements of SASS – the University of Veracruz cooperation. He expressed the gratitude to the University of Veracruz for its strong support to SASS in co-hosting the Latin American Symposium of the World Forum on China Studies (WFCS). At the same time, SASS attaches great importance to the close relation with the University of Veracruz, and expects to deepen exchange and cooperation with the University of Veracruz for common interests, including but not limited to global governance, world economy and graduate education, Prof. Quan said.
Aníbal Carlos Zottele expressed thanks to Quan Heng for the reception. He believes that social science research of SASS is of great significance to make China further understood by the world. He wished the both sides could further expand cooperation channels and areas and harvest new results.
The participating guests also included Esteban Zottele, the foreign professor at Center for Latin American Studies, Changzhou University, Cheng Fucai, Director of SASS Office of International Cooperation, and Li Yihai, Secretary General of SASS TTF.
