On the afternoon of December 12, 2022, the 2022 China-Japan Carbon Neutrality Forum was held in Shanghai Science Hall. The forum was hosted by Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and Mitsubishi Corporation China Co., Ltd., jointly organized by SASS Institute of Information Sciences and Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd., and supported by Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC). The theme of the forum was “China-Japan Carbon Neutrality and Mutual Learning: Strategy, Policy and Technological Innovation”. Experts, scholars, and business representatives from both countries conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the international situation, technological innovation and international cooperation of carbon neutrality. The forum was also an important part of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations.
