In December 9, 2022, the 2022 Report on the Influence of Overseas Collections of Chinese Books was published. Certified by China Publishing & Media Journal, and the Evaluation Center for the Effect of Chinese Culture Going Global at School of International Journalism & Communication, BFSU, the Publishing House of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) ranked 35th among the Top 100 Influential Publishing Houses in Overseas Library Collections of Chinese Books in 2022”. Since the annual report was first published in 2012, SASS has been listed in the top 100 for 11 consecutive years.
In the “Ranking of Overseas Library Collections of Digital Publications by Mainland Chinese Publishers in 2022” released at the same time, the Publishing House of SASS ranked ninth.
