On November 15, 2022, SASS Institute of Applied Sciences held the 2nd International Academic Conference on Cooperation and Sustainable Development of Marine Economy at Shanghai Tower. The conference, available both online and onsite, focuses on the challenges and opportunities facing the marine economy centering on “the new opportunities for regional marine economic development brought by RCEP”.

The International Academic Conference on Cooperation and Sustainable Development of Marine Economy is an academic forum jointly launched by Maritime Silk Road Research Center of SASS Institute of Applied Sciences and other research institutions and think tanks from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Europe and America, aiming to provide the theoretical basis for policy makers' decisions, solutions for entrepreneurs' business operations, a platform for experts and scholars to exchange academic views, as well as to build a continuous think tank exchange mechanism to create a unique think tank academic brand.
