On November 9, 2022, Shanghai Industrial International Competitiveness Forum and SME Cooperation Forum, the supporting forums of the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), wereheld in Shanghai Fashion Center. The forums were co-sponsored by the People's Government of Yangpu District and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, featuring the theme of Chinese Path to Modernization and the Improvement of International Competitiveness of Shanghai's Key Industries in an onsite-online hybrid model.
The forums are also one of the press conferences on the major research achievements of SASS to promote and implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress. During the forum, Tang Yunyi, Research Professor, Deputy Director of SASS Institute of Applied Sciences, released the “Shanghai Industrial International Competitiveness Report 2021–2022”.
As the supporting forum of CIIE, Shanghai Industrial International Competitiveness Cooperative Forum has beenheld for four years. Representatives from government agencies, industry associations and alliances, research institutions, and enterprises have attended the forum and made exchanges and discussions.
