Recently, the Secretary-General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) awarded Pan Guang, Director of the Research Center of SCO of SASS, and Professor at the Institute of International Relations, the medal of the 20th Anniversary of SCO. 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of SCO. Member states agreed to put up the medals and approve medal regulations. The Medals are awarded to civil servants at ministerial level (or below) of SCO member states and social activists who have made contributions to the establishment and development of SCO.
