On June 16, 2022, China Association for Science and Technology held a working meeting of ISC-CHINA in Beijing online and offline. Prof. Cheng Sumei, Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy, was elected the new member of ISC-CHINA.

In August 2019, as a representative of science & technology and philosophy in Asia, Prof. Cheng Sumei was elected as a member of the 17th Executive Committee of DLMPST at the 16th International Conference on Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology at Prague Technical University, Czech Republic, with a term from January 2020 to December 2023.
